A director is a creative poet that has gone through various emotions in his life and makes the movie according to how he sees the world. Some directors are way too experienced and they make movies based on their views about life and the world. Watching such movies not only makes us aware of a different view of the world but also teaches us on how to behave in certain situations.

Rocky marked the debut of superstar Sylvester Stallone. This movie is undoubtedly one of the most influential movies of all time. The plot of the movie revolves around a boxer who works as a debt collector for a loan shark and in his job period, he gets a chance to have a shot at the world heavyweight championship. After grabbing the chances, he works his days out in order to succeed. It is an inspirational story of the heavyweight champion Rocky Balboa. It gives a very solid lesson to the viewers that there is no shortcut to glory and if the person works hard in the right direction, he gets the victory sooner or later. Rocky has remained to be a cult movie and many people watch it for inspiration.
Lagaan is an Indian movie which is based on the British rule in India. It talks about patriotism and diligence. Starring Aamir Khan as the main lead, the movie plot is very interesting. It talks about the challenge of the British to the Indian villagers for playing a cricket match with them. This cricket match would thus decide the destiny of villagers to pay tax or not. The villagers accept this challenge and start to work their way out in order to win the game. Since, the villagers are not aware of the game rules, it takes them days of hard work and training and ultimately they beat the British soldiers in the movie. It is a highly inspiration movie and the moral is that when there is will, there is a way out.
Featuring Mel Gibson as the main lead, the movie talks about patriotism and the will to die for something you really care about. It discovers the secrets of life and unfolds the fact that there is a lot more to life than just living. Sometimes death can give an utmost pleasure to people when it comes for the right reason. The dialogue from the movie that says, “Aye, fight and you may die. Run and you’ll live” says a lot by itself. This dialogue is the part of the speech delivered in the movie and it remains very popular until this time.

This movie is based on a true story and talks about the life of a math teacher who has extreme faith in his students. His students are not resonant with the fact that they can achieve anything in their life but their teacher is confident about it. He teaches the students in some unconventional ways but they seem to work for the students and they pass a difficult placement exam. It is a highly respected movie and remains to be a favorite among students.

It is undoubtedly one of the most inspirational movies of all time. It talks about a poet who joins the school as a teacher and inspires the students to see life in a different way. The movie talks about living in the present and appreciating it. It became a blockbuster in the year 1989 and emerged to be one of the most favorite school based movies of all time.
Scent of a woman (1992)
Scent of a woman is known for the speech delivered at the end of the movie by none other than Al Pacino. He befriends a student who is threatened to be expelled from the school for not telling the name of the student who he has caught cheating in exam. When the student is about to be expelled, Al Pacino delivers a tremendous speech about leadership and sacrifice that changes the atmosphere and everyone gets inspired, like the viewers.
This movie teaches the methods of non violence and peace. The character of Mahatma Gandhi has been portrayed by Ben Kingsley. People knew about Gandhi before the movie released, but the film told people about the early life of Gandhi and the hardships he faced during the British times. However coming above all the struggles, he never gave up the fight for Indian independence and eventually, his adamant attitude and peaceful methods helped India gain the independence.

It is also based on the true story of Homer Hickam, whose father is always adamant about him filling in the shoes of his father, who worked in a coal mine. However, Homer Hickam possesses some different plans towards life. He is pretty interested in building rockets and eventually lands up a career in NASA as an aerospace engineer. The movie talks about being persistent with your dreams and never leave the hope. Therefore, its very inspirational for the people who have dreams.
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
This movie is an inspiration for the people to join the military. The movie talks about the hardships men face in military and the sense of sacrifice that is built in them. The film is quite emotional and has a very strong appeal. Steven Spielberg bagged the Oscar for Best Director for the movie.
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
It is based on the story of Christopher Gardner who makes wrong decision in life and ends up living in poverty. Due to his difficult times, his wife also turns the back against him and eventually leaves Christopher. He loses everything over the time. He struggles through to find himself a good job. The story is about the struggle of the main character and it teaches that the person should never give up.
