T-fal A80789 Specialty Nonstick PFOA-Free Jumbo Wok Cookware
This 14-inch wok is a bit of a cross between a wok and a frying pan due to the attached handle that stays cool during cooking. It’s lightweight for its size and super easy to clean thanks to its non-stick Teflon coating. However, like a lot of non-stick items, this non-stick surface may eventually wear off in as little as a year to three years. It is wide but more shallow than other woks and lacks a lid, but still goes a great job with the heat remaining during cooking.
Weber 7422 Gourmet BBQ System Wo
This Weber wok is designed to fit in with other Weber products, particularly the grill. It has a porcelain enamel finish to help prevent sticking. Due to an uneven surface, some food will stick, but it is surprisingly easy to wash after cooking. The wok itself does get very hot which is to be expected and has a nice, heavy weight to it.
Amore Kitchenware Flamekiss 12″ Red Ceramic Coated Nonstick Wok w/ Glass Lid
This stir fry pan has a ceramic non-stick finish which is completely PTFE and PFOA-free, making it safer and healthier than the typical non-stick pan. It is scratch resistant and dishwasher-safe with a nice weight to it that is not too heavy but solid enough to keep the heat in the pan even. You can cook absolutely anything using this pan. However, some customers did report the non-stick wearing after a surprisingly short time.
Calphalon Triply Stainless Steel 12-Inch Stir Fry with Cover
The Calphalon has an aluminum core between two stainless steel layers which allows even heating and gives you full control of the cooking process. It heats evenly and quickly, with the handle remaining cool when used on the stovetop. That said, the handles, while strong, seem too narrow for the pan size and make it a little awkward to hold when the pan contains food. Otherwise, this stir-fry pan does a fine job.
King Kooker 24WC Heavy-Duty 24-Inch Portable Propane Outdoor Cooker
The King Kooker is a great choice if you are after an outdoor wok. It works well for parties and easily cooks for eight people while allowing you to be near the table. The stand is portable and secures the 18-inch steel wok on top. Some people may find the height of the wok a bit short and if you are heavy handed when stirring, it may move around slightly.

This wok set includes a 14-inch wok, dome lid, a 12-inch bamboo spatula and a recipe booklet. The wok is made of carbon steel and does not have a non-stick coating or anything else that can prevent woks from working at high temperatures. This does mean that the pan is only a success if you season it properly before its first use and continue to maintain it properly. Season it carefully according to instructions to risk damaging it. When done right, it’s a great wok that heats up fast and evenly while being lightweight without sacrificing sturdiness.
Cuisinart 726-38H Chef’s Classic Stainless 14-Inch Stir-Fry Pan
If you are concerned about the long-term health effects of non-stick pans, this 14-inch stir-fry pan is an excellent alternative. It heats up fast, is lightweight, dishwasher-safe, and extremely easy to clean. It has a thick bottom and smooth inside surface which are ideal for stir-fry. It also comes with a glass lid. Some people have complained about food sticking to it when on high heat, but it should be kept in mind that woks are meant to be on high heat and cook food in a very short period of time with the food constantly tossed around. This should prevent most sticking issues.
Mr. Bar-B-Q 06106X Cast-Iron Wok
Being cast-iron, this wok is heavy! The inside of the wok is bowl-shaped but the bottom is flat, allowing you to rest it on an electric stove. Due to its weight, it will sit very steadily. Cast-iron will last for years and years, gaining in quality and becoming more non-stick as long as you season and care for it properly. The only downside to this wok is the inside surface is not completely even or smooth which some people do not like (others find it easier to get the vegetables to stay up the sides).
TeChef – Art Pan 12″ Wok / Stir-Fry Pan
This stir-fry pan has deep sides to apply a large amount of vegetables without anything spilling over the edge and a flat bottom to allow even heating. It is coated five times with PFOA-free DuPon Teflon, making it healthier to use than normal non-stick pans, plus stops your food from sticking and is incredibly easy to clean. The design in the middle of the pan is an oil measurement tool which takes he guesswork out of figuring out how much oil to use. It has a grip on the bottom to prevent it moving around while you’re cooking although its solid and heavier weight helps prevent this anyway (and yet it’s light enough to lift with one hand). A terrific stir-fry pan all around, it’s only downside is it doesn’t come with a lid.
Lodge Pro-Logic P14W3 Cast Iron Wok
This wok is made of heavy cast iron which means it retains heat extremely well. The sturdy base keeps it still on the stovetop, whether it be electric, gas, or induction. Unlike other cast iron woks, this one is already seasoned and immediately ready for use! The main drawback is it takes 10-15 minutes to heat up so you’ll have to be patient. Once it does though, you get long-lasting high heat and can toss food in the pan without worrying about the wok cooling off. It is reasonably easy to clean and very forgiving with the cleaning utensils you use on it. Nothing much cooks as evenly or as well as a cast iron wok.
